Blank pages were a canvas for my soaring imagination.

Sitting at the back of a classroom with my mind wandering another world, my pen began writing out a script. Before I knew it, I built a scene of a young girl lashing out at her brother-in-law in grief blaming him for the loss of her sister. After this, I completed an entire story about a bubbly and headstrong girl called Lauren who faces struggles whilst striving to accomplish her own dreams. I began building an entire plot and characters around these two compassionate and driven supporting heroines.

The Silver Lining Series

Broken Branches

Book 1 in Silver Lining Series.

Brimming Boughs

Book 2 in Silver Lining Series.

Whilst revelling in the process of creative writing at age 16, I never once thought of publishing. Over a decade later when publishing the Silver Lining Series, I only wanted readers to learn from the character’s experiences. Till this day, I truly hope that whoever reads these books absorb their fundamental self-help messages.

The Silver Lining Series is situated in the heart of the elegant Kensington, in buzzing London, where we follow Kris through his privileged life as everything is ripped from him bit by bit. A supernatural miracle helps him to unravel parts of his life that he used to question, and he is forced to take action to find the truth. The foundation of his life is further uplifted when unexpected faces arrive making Kris want to try and close the curtains to his past. However, magical forces push him to come face to face with his unhealed wounds to walk the path of where happiness lays.

The series presents grandeur, realism, profound relationships, opulence, simplicity, mental and emotional health. It is also sprinkled with airy supernatural quirks that also bring about a humour in the form of classic British sarcasm.

Little Women

By: Louisa May Alcott

This was one of the first books I picked up in my early teens and I have re-read it many times leading me to love it more and more. The story radiates warmth and familiarity making me return to the sisters every Christmas with the same excitement. The characters are layered, and they teach me something new every time I come back to them. Before I resonated with Jo the most, now as an adult I connect with all the sisters in some way. I just adore everything about this book and if you haven’t read it yet, you really should.

Good Vibes Good Life

By: Vex King

It’s crazy the way the Universe hands you what you need, exactly when you need it. I’m so thankful I bought this book, because from that moment on my life just changed. I was going through so much at the age of 28, I was looking to help myself at one of the loneliness times of my life and this book taught me how to do that. What is more, this book brilliantly breaks down the Law of Vibration without all the complicated jargon. I would strongly recommend this book if you need a guide in life.

A Walk To Remember

By: Nicholas Sparks

This book makes me smile, laugh and just sends me on one crazy emotional rollercoaster. You really become invested in the characters as you watch them learn and grow. Genuinely one of my favourite reads. If you’re looking for a book that represents real love and growth Jamie and Landen’s relationship journey is defiantly one that you need to read.

By: Jo Jo Moyes

If you’re in need of both a good laugh and a good cry then this book is for you. At the time I was looking for a good story and nothing was grabbing my attention.
